Guest guest Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Jean, I went to the ER for my fibroids 2 years ago and was kept there for about 6 hours. They did blood work and a pelvic exam, but not much else. Really for me they did nothing. I was having horrible flooding/hemorraging/clotting. I lost a lot of blood, but apparently not enough for a transfusion. Since I didn't have a gyn, they hooked me up with one who I saw immediately the next morning. The whole ordeal was draining.
