Advice on TTC with Fibroids

Hi All

So just a little background on my problem... I discovered I had

fibroids in Jan of this year when I suffered a miscarriage during a

pregnancy I had NOT planned. Now my boyfriend and I want to try

again but we discovered through ultrasounds etc that I have many

fibroids large and small (something like 12 or so).

So my doctor called with her advice based on the ultrasounds - she

said that two of the fibroids are " poking through " to the cavity

right now which could be a cause for concern. However she feels

that trying to remove them would do more damage than good and she

suggested we TTC and see what happens. She did say that I might

have a complicated pregnancy.

So now im concerned because I actually was hoping for surgery and I

feel like Im taking risks by not having them out. I just feel like

it would be so irresponsible of me to go ahead and TTC when it could

cause premature labor, birth defects etc... BUT I do trust my doctor

and respect her opinion.

My other problem is timing - so i just started graduate school and

so now Im thinking well maybe we'll wait until Im done to TTC but

then what if I have more fibroids and its even worse?

So now Im so confused. Any advice would be great!!!
