Guest guest Posted May 1, 2004 Report Share Posted May 1, 2004 Hi everyone, Hope everyone is doing well, I'm doing ok. I was just wondering if anyone knew the answer to a question I have. What I was wondering is if pre-cancerous/abnormal cells being found in Pap smears runs in families or not. I found out last thurs. that my sister has abnormal cells and is going in for a colposcopy to find out what kind. I also found out that my cousin is facing the same thing, and her sister has confirmed pre-cancerous cells. I have not had a pap smear, but getting close to my first and was wondering if I should be worried, and if I should let my Gyn know about the 3 of them. I would appreciate any advice on this.
