Irregular Cycles Post Myo Anybody?

Hi, I posted once about this before & suspect my experience is not

very typical since no one replied, but the post below made me think

to post again on it...

I seem to be having irregular cycles SINCE my myo. It was in

December '03, so 6 mos. now. Feel great, no problems. But for the

second time since the surgery, over six weeks I've had two bleeds. I

mosey along thinking the first few days is a regular period; that

stops and then a few days or a week later I have another few days of

bleeding.

Sounds like classic perimenopause, right? I'm 48. It's going to be

very ironic if I lived with my fibroids for 10 years and finally had

my myo only to hit meno the next year ... Anybody else hit meno soon

after myomectomy, or heard of any reason a myo could " trigger " it? I

know myo can upset the rhythm but I would think it should be settled

down by now...6-mo. check-up coming soon, will see what the RE

thinks...

I've always been very regular -- for the years before myo my periods

actually were getting somewhat longer but lighter, while the cycles

gradually went from 28-30 days down to 26-28.

Anybody out there with similar experience, or insights?

Thanks,

Sunny
