Guest guest
, I sure hate to be the one to tell you this but if you give up your right leg in order to bound you won't be doing too many steps two at a time. Give up your hair, or your walker or your horse but keep the leg. Sometimes I'd be glad to get rid of mine but if they work to the point of " boundiung " I want to keep them. I'd like to see this arm do a little " bounding " , too. Ronnie Re: Arlene - Warning, Warning Arlene, The fact that you are celiac could as the neuro suggested be at the root of your problems. Have you ever read about MacDougall (British playwright) and his battle with MS? It was one of the first things I read about after diagnosis in the days before the internet and pointed me in the direction of using an appropriate diet. Basically his MS got to the point where he was in a wheelchair, almost blind and preparing to die. He somehow figured out that he was allergic to gluten and various other foods so eliminated them from his diet. It was very slow - took him four years to reach the point where he managed to get his fingers to do a shirt button up!! It also had to be absolutely 100% strict - he soon learnt that even an accidental breaking of the diet, even in a very small way, led to big setbacks. It paid off in the end - at one point in the book I have about him written by naturopath Jan De Vries, Jan tells how he visited at home after his 'recovery' and bounded down the steps of his home two at a time!! I'd give my right leg to be able to do that again!! :-) I checked and looks like the book is still available on Amazon - see http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0906391989/102-0149702-6172159?v=glance&n=28315\ 5 Cheers, riddlea@... wrote: > Tested positive on blood test for celiac at Baylor in Houston 4 yrs. > ago.
