Guest guest Posted June 1, 2004 Report Share Posted June 1, 2004 Help! Has anyone experience weakness in their legs due to their fibroids? I am 13 weeks post c-section and have multiple large fibroids. I was on bed rest for 5-1/2 months. I am experiencing pain in my legs and overall weakness where it feels that I have run a marathon yet I will only walk down the street or to my car. I am undergoing tests now to rule out anything else but I really think it has something to do with the fibroids. I had asked my previous doctor a while back about pain I had in one leg and she said that the fibroids could be pressing on a nerve that would cause the pain in my leg. But the pain and weakness I have now is in both legs so I'm not sure if it would be possible that it is the fibroids causing it. If anyone has experienced this problem, I'd be interested to hear about it. The doc said it could be that my body is still recovering from the bed rest since I probably lost body mass not doing anything for so long but he isn't sure.
