Dorothy and e, thank you both so much for responding. I feel a

lot better today. I am going to get a second opinion on the 27th

(which unfortunately will probably be in the midst of my heavy

bleeding days). I just want to see if the second doctor will suggest

Lupron. Also, I believe that he has the expertise to deal with the

fibroid and any possible infertility issues.

I have never heard of Megace, but I will definitely be doing some

research and asking the doctor(s).

Have either of you tried or are trying to have children? I have been

trying to find out the fertility and/or pregnancy rate after a

myomectomy. Could anyone tell me what this is or where to find the

information? In addition to eliminating the heavy bleeding/anemia,

my fertility is a major concern.
