Hi all,

Shellie dedicated her Route 66 Ride Across America to honor Reyerse,

an early pioneer in establishing the PLS patient community. After formation

of the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, he also welcomed the HSP patient

community in his efforts. For newbies who don't know it, the SPF is the only

organization in the Americas that is dedicated to finding the cures for all

forms

of these two conditions and providing information and support services.

Please ride her tribute poem here:

Beginning June 10, Shellie and motorcyclists will make their way across the

country, following Route 66 from CA to DC to raise funds and awareness for our

conditions. Along the way, those of us close enough to their lunch and

dinner/bunk down stops are encouraged to come out and Cheer On Shellie and

cyclists. We're calling them a Cheer On Connection.

Mark Dvorak, from Norman, OK, will be taking names of people who want to

Cheer On Shellie on June 14 when they are in OK.

The Route 66 ride travels through AZ, NM, TX, OK, MO, IN, OH and WV and ends

with a celebration in Washington, DC on June 24.

Please let me know if you want to Cheer Shellie On by welcoming her in your

area. Email me at _kathigeisler1@..._ (mailto:kathigeisler1@...) .
