I have a very silly question,

but how did you find out about advocacy training? where did you go?

Thank you.

I was in the Partners in Policymaking program sponsored by the state,

believe it or not!

As a parent of an autistic child I am trained to be very skeptical of people

trying to stir up our emotions for the ultimate benefit of non-profits and PACs.

They give trial lawyers a bad name and also tend to create class action lawsuits

on the behalf of state lobbyists.

Once the lobbyists get their funding they hire a lot of totally unqualified

people to push paperwork and lots of mental drugs while also ignoring the

biological-medical needs of autistic children.

Iowa, as far as I am concerned is a day late and a dollar short. The mercury is

their liability, too. Many states actually have been in legal " workshops " for

the past few years in an attempt to thwart off vaccine claims against them.

Bogus state projects are popping up all over the place. Do not sign anything

until your lawyer goes over everything. You can unknowingly sign something that

may waive you and your children's rights to compensation. Don't did it.

I hope that parents of autistic children there stir clear of " partnerships with

the state " at all corners. Doing so reserves their rights as parents and

protects their children's legal compensation claims.
