hello all,new fibroid patient here

Hi my name is ,I'm 33yrs old married almost 18 yrs and have

2 teenage boys.I have had 1 d&C,1 ovarian cyst removed both done in

my 20ies.Also had 1 cyst explode which was VERY PAINFULL.I did not

know at the time it exploded what it was and did not seek any medical

treatment.I was told about 4 years ago by a girlfriend that the depo

shot seem to help her with her cyst and that may be something I

should look into so I did.I have been on it ever since with no

problems until recently.I have been experiencing pain with

sex,teneder tummy,feeling of bloating,constant need to pee,minor loss

of bladder control.I asked my reg doc to order a atrasound,the

results are in,a 1.4cm fibroid in lower uterus quadrant.I have done a

bit of research on fibroids.My biggesrt ? here is, a 1.4cm fibroid is

tiny so why is it causing me so much trouble and with it being so

little but causing so much trouble,would I be better off trying the

alteratives or just go for the hesterocomy?I am all done having

children but the surgery is so major but on the other hand this is

affecting my sex life.I have so many other things going on in my life

if I was not to have a hesterocomy that I may have to deal with this

problem for the next 20 years or less.If I was to have a hesterocomy

it would be done with and never thought of again.I have an app. on

april 15th so I'll know more then.Any info or advice is GREATLY app.
