Guest guest Posted May 26, 2004 Report Share Posted May 26, 2004 Lynn, I am no medical expert, just another 50-something woman with fibroids (18 wk size uterus, scheduled for a UFE in one week) but I have read that fibroids growing back after a myo is not likely at your (my) age. And myo is bloodier surgery than a hysterectomy but if you go to a surgeon experienced in this procedure that should not be a problem. Check out myomectomy and UFE well before you decide on a hyster.
