Guest guest
Hey Belinda, How exciting!!! I am a fraternal twin myself. And I love it. You can look forward to your children having a special bond as they get older but the early years are tough to share. I think it's even more neat since you and your DH weren't even trying. How far long are you now? How has your pg been going? Any problems? Where have you gone to get the information you did find on UD? I haven't read too many horror stories or statistics. My RE was relieved that I was UD...since some of the other anomalies have many other complications. He said this wasn't the best scenario but it wasn't the worst either. Are there any other websites besides this one that you get information from? I can only find the basics of information searching the web or sites with medical terminology that regular people can't understand. I love this group but not too many people have UD. Anything you might have to offer would be great, even personal experience. I will keep you, your DH and your twins in my prayers. May you have a boring and healthy pregnancy. I've never had a m/c, I found out about my UD at my 8 week scan, at this time I also found out that I am carrying fraternal twins. My husband and I were not trying to conceive. Like others who've responded I've seen some pretty awful statistics and two minutes later seen articles which indicate 70% success or more in a singleton pregnancy. I was quite distressed at the possibilities up until a few weeks ago when my conclusion is all these differing opinions and statistics can only mean that medical profession doesn't really have a number to put on it. Plenty of women have no problems with their pregnancy and are oblivious to their MA until subsequent pregnancies. For me, I'm taking care of myself, doing zero housework, finding the best medical care possible and concentrating on the positive stories. Sorry I couldn't offer any firm answers. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly for you. Belinda, UD 15w pg with twins. > > Hey! Does anyone know of a UD website with statistics?
