My symtoms were heavy awful periods, hemmoraging, gushing uncontrollable bleeding. others were frequent urination, uncomfortable intercourse and constapation. All are totally relieved. No more gushing! Under total control. I found a fantastic IR through the yahoo embo group. At 7 weeks, my fibroid shrunk 3 cms. I'm sure it's shrunk even more. I highly recommend this procedure. Risks are so low compared to other procedures and most women are very happy in their results. You are young. Myo is the preferred treatment for someone your age. I am 43 and have had my kids already. They say UFE is " unknown " for women that want to have kids only becuase it hasn't been tracked. Their are many women that have actually gone on with successful pregnancies after UFE. I think it comes down to personal choice. for me, it was easy. I didn't want more kids, hysto was completely out of the question, and myo, they'd grow back in time. You said four weeks right? Give it at least three months is what I was told.
