17 days post focused ultra sound

Hi Everyone~

I wanted to keep you all posted about my progress.

Yesterday I went to yoga class and was laying face down on my mat. WITHOUT

DISCOMFORT!!!! A couple of months ago, I could not have said that. My uterus

was about an 18 month size and laying tummy down felt like I was laying on a

hard rock.

I just completed my first period following the treatment and instead of 5 days

plus 3 more of " drip " ...I had a 5 day period and was really done with it!

I have very little bloating and gas...greatly reduced since the procedure.

Now, on the negative side...I seem to have sprung a small leak. When I take out

my tampon...I leak. And when I was really hopping about in a dance class, and

also when I sneeze. Just a little leak. I hope this will resolve in time. It is

bothersome since I've begun teaching the dance class (which is quite aerobic)

and it's not convenient for me to go change my clothes. And the leak hasn't been

enough for me to have to change, but still it's awful feeling a little wet!

Last night I only got up once to pee! I can't tell you how good it feels to

sleep several hours at a time.

I can still feel the fibroid when I'm laying face up...can palpate the whole

thing...but something has changed. I would do this procedure again in a NY

minute! ~
