LaDawn Grove needed surgery. Doctors told the 42-year-old mother of

three that fibroid tumors were taking over her uterus. It had swollen

to the size and shape of a butternut squash.

Troubling news, indeed. But she was even more disturbed to learn that

she was anemic and might need a blood transfusion with her operation.
