Guest guest
Well I now have 2 battery w/c. Read in the paper about an estate sale and they listed electric w/c. From experience I knew no one would be looking for one at an antique sale. Sent hubby the last day of sale and the lady said not one person had been interested in it. She had $800 on it and he offered her $200. She checked with the family and they said fine. It is just like mine but a new one. I have a Jet 3 and this is a Jet 2. Brand new. The wheels are smaller which I like better for the hse. I can touch the floor and pickup things. Also inch and half narrower. Mine cost $6000 which medicare and ins paid. (found it later retail on the net for $3000). I see mostly Jets and Jazzy around here. The Jet is plain vanilla and really does nothing but ride. Back will recline a little. Now I am looking into a lift for it. Bargains are out there. Especially at estate sales. From yrs of going to antique auctions I have seen new computers and t.v.'s go for $5 or $10 because the people there only wanted antiques. Well, I am going to check Fox news. As the saying went " it was the best of times, it was the worst of times " . Arlene
