Guest guest
Hi , I think it was Eva, or maybe not, but someone said, finding a way, everyday. And that's just what we do. In the beginning, when I still thought someone was going to fix this stuff, I would get into a vehicle and say, come on leg, you gotta' go where I go. My friends would just laugh with me. I think if you are comfortable with yourself and your problems then those around you are more relaxed. I get stuff all the time from family, friends and co-workers. I never feel that they are ridiculing me or making fun or being disrespectful as I have set the stage myself. Attitude is everything. If you can laugh at yourself then it's not so bad and it tells others --I'm OK. At least that's how it works for me. They make cracks about my hearing, they say quit dragging your leg and come on; we want to get seated before the restaurant closes. We all laugh and since laughter is supposed to be good for you I just might cure myself in another 40 or 50 years.... Ronnie I looked up and read the newspaper story. I just wanted to say " Thank You " this pls group sure has helped me understand this " complexed " , disease by putting it more into the patients words, maybe this is why when I go to walk, some times.. I say,{ MY LEG} it will move when it decides too. " My Mind say's " go " and my leg say's " no " ...
