Guest guest
Hi , As you know, a speak with my Enkidu. I can count on one hand the people who can understand me. Here's my progression: 1. when tired, cold or stressed, words slurred. 2. when singing, some notes just didn't come out. 3. I noticed loss of lip control putting on lipstick. 4. problems keeping mouth closed when chewing and swallowing 5. " g " was the first sound to go 6. speech slower 7. by Aug. 03, I was pretty bad but still could answer phone in the mornings. I got my Enkidu then. 8. I gradually used the Enkidu more ever since. I think this is about right. I first went to a neuro in Sept. 01, as my mouth wasn't symmetrical, but my speech was ok. I also had been tripping and falling for about 3 years prior, but it never occurred to me the problems were related! Some of you non-speakers may want to e-mail directly rather than go public. Whatever makes you comfortable - just please participate! This may help us!! Thurza
