Guest guest Posted February 9, 2004 Report Share Posted February 9, 2004 has anyone ever heard of Dr. Akin or Dr. Shona Murray? they are in lexington, ky. i emailed dr. akin to see if they performed myos and he emailed me back the next day, which was a suprise. they are both REs. the practice's website says that they treat fibroids without hysterectomy, which is a good sign, right? how can i research their practice? i am trying to make a decision for a myo, my biggest fear is not being able to take care of my family and work. has this been a big concern for the rest of you? i am office manager of a small medical equipment company. there isn't anything strenous about this job, will i really have to be off work for long? have others of you with office jobs went back to work sooner?
