FYI - the lowdosenaltrexone group has received about a dozen of these

" New Graphic Site " emails in the last day or two so will be only a

matter of time before these groups also get hit. Just delete them if

they do start - DO NOT OPEN!

* Today there's been a very fast moving Worm Virus spreading through the

Yahoo Groups. If you get an email from a yahoo group with the subject

" New Graphics Site " DELETE** IT without opening and you should be okay.

It's also a good idea to update your antivirus software daily. I'm

trying to get more info about the legitimacy of this virus, and I'll let

you know if i hear anything else, but I thought a just-in-case warning

might be appreciated.*

I take it given your reference to snopes (which I myself always tell

people to check first before being tempted to send out virus warnings)

with no further explanation that you are saying this one falls in the

urban myth realm????

If so, you obviously a) failed to check the Symantec (Norton) link given

and even more of an oversight failed to check what snopes actually

said about it on http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/newgraphic.asp

Plus I just saw reference to it on the news not long ago.

Yes, I did reference Snopes.com and item 7 on Snopes does talk about

New Graphic Site. My last post works under my sent items, but for some

reason it did not make it to the yahoogroups correctly. Let me try

, Tsk, Tsk yourself, I did check to see what Snopes had to say and

was letting other good people have the opportunity to find out for

themselves and in my opinion, Norton is a lot slower to update

themselves than a far more better program called McAfee.
