Guest guest Posted March 10, 2004 Report Share Posted March 10, 2004 i went for my annual checkup Mon. My gynocologist said my uterus was threee times as large as it should be. I have to have a cat scan tomorrow of my oelvis then a visit with him to find out the results. He said he suspects fibroid tumors...my question for now is....do they cause your abdomen to swell up like you're pregnant? i thought i was putting on weight but now i'm thinking it's whatever is in there. I also have constipation, frequent urination, back pain and very heavy periods plus i'm anemic.
