Guest guest Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 Hello, I have 3 fibroids measuring from 7.2 to 1.5 cms, I have major weight gain and loss within the same week (+ 6/7 pounds) with major bleeding at time of period. My surgeon recommends that I take Lupron before my myomectomy. Has anyone in the group done that?. Have you had any side effects or/and bad experience with the Lupron. The other alternative recommended is the hysterectomy. Which one would you choose: Myomectomy and Lupron or Histerectomy. Please give me your experiences.
