I just had to share my story. I am 46 years old and had the Uterine

Fibroid Embolization procedure performed three months ago at the

recommendation of my gynecologist, Toni sey, MD

in Pasadena, CA and my Interventional Radiologist, , MD

also in Pasadena, both who I HIGHLY recommend. They

are affiliated with Huntington Memorial Hospital. I had four large

uterine fibroids causing severe abdominal, low back and bladder pain,

frequent urination which increased at night and a constant heavy

feeling in my pelvic area. I was also having quite a bit of pain

over one ovary. Dr. performed the procedure as an out patient.

I went home the same day. Dr. is a kind, caring and

compassionate physician who put me at ease instantly. Although he

told me that it takes approximately 4-6 months for the fibroids to

shrink completely, I have been pain free for almost a month now. ALL

of my symptoms are so much better!!!! The frequent urination has

also ceased and I can now sleep through the night. I can't say

enough about the care I received from Dr. and Dr. sey and

how wonderful I feel today. This was certainly the way to go for me

and I would recommend this procedure to everyone in need of relief

from fibroids. I have dense scar tissue in my pelvic area from past

surgeries and a hysterectomy was out of the question. If anyone is

interested in additional information from me, please feel free to

email me, otherwise please contact Dr. directly. His phone

number is listed above.
