Thanks again ladies for all your input. I did have my thyroid checked in

November and my doc said it was fine. He also did a complete CBC with liver

function testing. So I am still at a loss. The cold feeling is random. There

are times that I do feel warm enough and in fact if I am doing vacuuming, or

vigorous walking I do break a sweat.

I will keep my eye on this and post if anything develops further. Thanks! L

Hi L,

As incredible as it may sound, in January 2003, AACE changed the TSH

range results from 0.5 - 5.0 to 0.3 - 3.0 and the labs are still

using the old range. So....it's still possible your TSH came

back " normal " when your thyroid could use some help. Suggest you get

a copy of your lab work and take a look at the numbers for yourself

just to double check. You can read more at:

Very good point. My TSH is at 4.8 and I had ALL the symptoms of

hyothyroid - including being very cold. EVEN in hot weather. I was

freezing in 70degree weather. I am on armour now and feel somewhat

better.
