With the holiday weekend over, I have 2 appointments. The first at 10 am is for another opinion since I know my gyn/ob is going to recommend a hyster in an afternoon appointment. I have been wearing the catheter for 8 days now and have gotten quite used to it. I no longer feel that I have to make my decision today and have the surgery on Friday. I still tend towards a UAE or a myo. But I have learned that I need my medical records to really know what fibroid treatment options I truly have since I only have vague descriptions. The Dr. I am seeing for a second opinion performed a hyster. on a good friend of mine 5 years ago. Two months ago he told her he would not suggested that surgery today because there are more options.
