12 weeks pregnant and fibroid has grown 5X in size already! Please help...

Hi ladies

I've posted periodically on this board, since I had a myo last April

to remove a fibroid and preserve my fertility. It worked, as I am

not 12 weeks pg. BUT, I grew another fibroid about 7 months post-

myo, which remained small (1.5 all around, 1.5cm total volume),

until today's u/s.

My fibroid has grown, in the past four weeks since my last u/s, to a

total volume of 8cm, about 2.6cm all around. It's inside my utereus,

and close to my cervix. I am freaking out! I haven't had any

bleeding or pain, but my dr. told me no sex or excercise for the

next three weeks, until my next u/s to check on the growth of the

fibroid.

So far, the baby is perfectly healthy and not at any risk due to the

fibroid. The placenta is close to the fibroid, but not on top of it

at this time.

I need some reassurance, which I have gotten here before, and even

the not-so-reassuring stories. I need the facts, whatever they may

be. Anyone in or have been in a similar situation? From what I have

read, the intra-uterine fibriods are not the best to have, but I

don't know much more.

Thank you for your help! I am so worried that the will cause pre-

term labor, or worse.
