Is their somewhere you can attain information on your doctor's surgery success rate? Or is this something I should ask him about? He is a new doctor so I suppose I need to be assertive and let him know I am in control. Also can anyone tell me the requirements for getting a UFE? I can't think of the word I am looking for here, but I want to know if I could seek this option. Is there typically a limit to how many fibroids or there size? I called my doc and am waiting for them to get back to me with specifics on size and numbers but I know they are there since I can feel them all the time. One more quick question...is it typical for the doctor to tell you to stop taking BC a week before surgery? I am worried about heavy bleeding pre-op and my iron levels dropping.
