Guest guest
Hello, Just thought I'd ask here if anyone had similar symptoms at any point. I've had fibroids for a while and only once prior to now did they bother me when part of the largest one " infarcted " ....but I lived through it as it was pain in only one area of the fibroid. A few weeks ago after my last period my abdomen swelled up and got very hard. I know my largest fibroid sits on the very top, but is on the outside and I also have one in the lining as well. Just today I started getting horrible cramping pain (not like the " infarcting " pain) but down in the cervix area. Although i've never had children, I'm going to say it feels like labor -- very intense. My cervix is tipped way out of view, so I'm wondering if a piece of the fibroid is stuck in there and can't push it's way out if it could cause this type of pain. I'm new to this area and don't have an established Dr., so I couldn't get an appointment until Monday. Has anyone had a piece of fibroid push it's way through into the uterine cavity and get stuck inside? If so did it cause a lot of crampy pain and how did they resolve it? Thanks! Guest guest
I use anaprox. However, it doesn't always work. > Debbie, > I to have that intense pain in my lower abdomen as well and I to have never > had children but I know what you mean when it says it feels like child birth. > To be blunt it hurts like he**.
