Irene,

I don't know where in NJ you live, but my previous

doctor was excellent. I had to switch docs when I

moved and I was devastated. She performed my

myomectomy 5 years ago. I later went on to become pg

and had a very difficult pg with fibroids and she was

great. She has a lot of experience with them. And,

her father, who passed away last year was a well

respected doc who also had a lot of experience. She

is located in West Orange, Dr. Roth Pitman. I

highly recommend her if that is close to you. She is

affiliated with St. Barnabas Hospital. Good luck!

Irene,

For an RE, try Dr. Suna Qasim in Edison, NJ. .

For an IR, try Dr. Alan Zakheim in englewood, NJ .

Dr. Q did my myo 6 years ago. I really like him and think he is an excellent

doc. I spoke to Dr. Z recently, but have not had a UFE. He did come highly

recommended from the friend of a frined, though.

Good luck!

New Jersey?

After watching and waiting for about 7 years, my

kidneys may be affected.(Uterous is 20 wks) I had 2

sonograms a week apart at separate locations and the

results were different in each. My gyno wants me to

have another sonogram in 3 months. He's already

mentioned hysterectomy and said he wouldn't do a myo.

I don't feel he has the skills.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Irene
