Guest guest
I am thrilled will my report as it clearly does not show a grapefruit sized fibroid in which the doctor originally guessed via pelvic examination. ************************************* Two fibroids are visible. One in the posterior right uterus measures 4.8 cm in maximal dimension and the smaller anterior uterine fibroid measures 6 mm. The ovaries and adnexa appear unremarkable. ************************************** My questions are: Does this report tell me what " type " of fibroids I have? If not, do I need an MRI to find out? I will start researching UFE's but my doctor stated that he did not know of anyone that performs them....so I will do my research on this as they definitely appear small enough to go this direction. ONE QUESTION THAT I HAVE ABOUT UFE's. I have heard that this procedure exposes your ovaries to a lot of radiation. This would be a concern to me. They say the equivalent of two barium tests on the colon. Any feedback is appreciated. in Vancouver, BC Does
