Always the same spot. I have tried to see if it is related to anything I am doing but doesn't seem so. It is a very uncomfortable burning pain. Guest guest
I take tegretol for the neuropathy that shouldn't be but is.....mostly in back are the wicked pins and needles that feel like a burning staple gun repeatedly stapling my back. those for me are heat related up my back and back of arms-----sometimes if i am too hot, wherever there are clothes, so i do my strip routine. the other pins and needles are mostly shoulders down my arms and don't seem to be related to anything else i do either, but tegretol helps them. it is odd as i had many of these symptoms all over early into my illness and that is why docs were convinced i had MS. i don't have MS! susie, yours sound like my friend who has MS----mine aren't localized like that, but hers are. have to remember this is an odd illness and we haven't a clue what is happening really and despite what the literature says.....we have these symptoms after all is ruled out!! tawny SusieQ susieq2828@...> wrote: I have a burning sensation on one spot on my back. Guest guest
thanks tawny i think too that there are so many possible causes out there, and truly tests aren't available to say for sure on most of those, that makes it even harder if not impossible to find accurate answers. i too initially was told possible MS, and sorta still there. except with this new neuro who suggested HSP. will see him friday and should get MRI results. hopefully he will know what direction to go depending on MRI results, which i seriously doubt going to show lesions for MS. take care of YOU marfla Be Blessed Neuropathy? > > > anyone experience neuropathy? i don't mean neuropathy related to > diabetes or other disorders. more related to HSP/FSP/PLS. > > i once again an experiencing below right knee feeling like burning > (razor burn yet its not from that). or i can get a small scratch, not > even know when i did it, but hours or days later feel to point > bothersome. > > tingling/numbness/pins/needles in legs that come and go? > > thanks in advance > > marfla > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thank you Marfla. Yes it is annoying and painful but not unbearable. I am just thankful that I don't have a disease where I am in constant pain. Guest guest
I get the burning pain in my left shoulder. I think it is because that is the side I usually fall on when I do fall. I fell twice in three weeks last summer and landed on my left elbow and shoulder each time. I have had the problem since then. I am currently wearing a brace around my left arm just below the elbow to stabilize the tendons and/or ligaments. It has helped tremendously. The shoulder pain usually comes when I have been sitting at the computer too long or do not have adequate back support for extended periods, unless I am standing. My feet, especially the left, get numb if I sit too long, also. Makes for a good exit when I have been in a meeting or after one of my groups. Good thing I don't make all of my group member upset. They are usually very helpful. In fact, I have given some of them another somatic complaint to use.
