Looks like the MeetUps will definitely be a “GO” in San Francisco, New York

and Boston, since enough of us have confirmed to make those meetings happen

& Seattle is having a meeting, thanks to Ann, with or without meetups.

San Diego, Santa , Washington, DC and Alameda County, CA each have

enough members to have a meetup – but not enough votes or confirmations this

month.

Houston, TX, Broward County, FL, Phoenix, AZ and Chicago each have 4 members

– so 1 more member in each of those places would make a meetup technically

possible.

I’d like to repeat the invitation to ladies in areas surrounding San

Francisco to join us. Just sign up for meetups & switch to “San Francisco”

– using the “other cities” link on the left hand side of the meetups uterine

fibroids page. (link - below)

I have materials of my own from both the Colorado Meeting in 2002 and from

Opening Doors last January – will make some copies and bring them for

interested ladies. Also, I have a few copies of both Carla’s great book,

“Sex, Lies & The Truth About Uterine Fibroids . . .” and Dr. Bill ’s

wonderful book “A Gynecologist’s Second Opinion” – which I can sell at a

reduced rate – money will go to NUFF. So, if you don’t already own both of

those, here’s your chance.

If you’re going to a meet-up, bring a digital camera if you can. We can

post the photos on this site’s photos page as well as the meetups site.
