, I have had a muscle bioscopy way back in 1996 when they were trying

to find out what the heck I had. Its a simple procedure, they put you half

way under but I didn't feel a thing. I have a scar on the outside of my left

leg tho, about two inch's long. They did a deep muscle bioscopy. The

condition of the tissue and nerve endings can help determine what I

had..................they thought ALS at first but it showed that the sample

was healthy

Hi , I havent had one done but I would like to know what happens

also and if there is any pain involved (I have a low threshold for pain)

A muscle biopsy and a spinal tap are the only 2 things I havent had

done to me. However the spinal tap is something I DO NOT want to know

about!

Maureen,

I do not like pain or needles. But the spinal tap and I have had 2 did

not hurt me at all. I went in just knowing I was going to have a terrible event.

IT WAS EASY.
