Guest guest
LOL, There are now 16 cities with at least 5 members (the number required for a Meetup to potentially occur in any given city) registered for a Uterine Fibroids Meetup. Venue voting will begin on the 29th of May (Saturday). Now is the time to begin thinking about whether or not you live close enough to any of these venues to possibly change your city for this month and register to vote/attend one of these meetings: # New York City (35 members) # Boston, MA (13) # San Francisco, CA (12) # Chicago, IL (9) # Phoenix, AZ (8) # Seattle, WA (8) # Washington, DC (7) # Santa , CA (7) # Toronto, ON (6) # San Diego, CA (6) # Alameda County, CA (6) # Houston, TX (6) # London, England (6) # Atlanta, GA (5) # Detroit, MI (5) # Broward County, FL (5) How to change your city on the Meetup.com site: 1. Sign in to the meetup site here: http://www.meetup.com/reg/signin/ 2. Look for the following link and click on it: Change your city 3. Scroll down to find the following link and click on it: Or browse all cities… 4. A popup box displays a list of cities. There is a link at the very top for " United States " . Click on it. 5. A list of all states displays. Scroll down to find the link for your state and click on it. 6. A list of cities for your state displays. Click on the city you want to change to for the next month. 7. A webpage displays giving you the option to Change City. Click the Change City button. If you are already registered in another city within the state, you may see a page display which asks if you will be attending the June meeting. Clicking on the " no " button still registers you for your city change as a member for the June meeting. I hope these instructions help some! You can also simply check out other cities in your area with less than 5 members and change city to increase the headcount for next month. This increases the likelihood that at least 5 members would vote on a venue for that city. There are an additional 10 cities with at least 4 members which might benefit from some consolidation or added members who live close by but who are registered for another city. # Louisville, KY (4) # Camden, NJ (4) # Monmouth-Ocean Counties, NJ (4) # Bellevue-East Side, WA (4) # Newark-Jersey City, NJ (4) # Minneapolis, MN (4) # Richmond, VA (4) # San Valley, CA (4) # Sacramento, CA (4) # Nassau County, NY (4) Check it out!
