I'm 34 and just had my TR, and we are currently working on getting pg. I'm so happy that your consultation is around the corner and I'm sure surgery isn't far off. When are you expecting to make the appointment? A MUST READ!!!!! Hi I am new to the group and my name is Marvan C. from Peoria, IL. I have 2 son's ages 7 years and 11 years old. I first must apolojize to every supporter in this group. I was ashamed to tell you who I was for several reason of which I wont go into. But here I am and that is my name I have very little support from family members about my decision to have the TR so I was very reluctant of putting myself out in the open to " strangers " . But once I did I almost cried at the positive response that I got in return even though I was " unknown " as some of you labeled me. (LOL) The support that I got from you ladies made it easy for me to " come out of the closet " about my decision. My mother is my biggest critic. I know that I am an " old hen " at 33 but it is so my wish to have another baby after an abusive marriage (in every aspect of the term)and meeting someone special. Finally after several hours of being locked in my computer room and screaming out at the top of my lungs I am able to work this computer. So please forgive me. Oh yea did I mention that I have my phone consultation 9/29/03. And my credit union did approve me for a home equity loan enough for the TR, gas for the trip and snacks to take on the road. LOL. Unfortunately I do not qualify for the buddy system b/c I am overweight. I thought wait a minute I had 2 children if I subtract their current weight I will be right on track for a buddy but Dr. Levin didnt use that in the weight formula, lol, well I tried. I just thank God that I was still approved for a generous amount. Thank you again for taking me in, even though I was an ailen in the beginning. Looking forward to hearing from someone.
