Guest guest
Hi all, we are moving from Tampa to Denver in a few weeks. I was out there last week with my husband, to look at houses. I was exactly 8 weeks post op and thought I should be ok taking , my 29 lb toddler with me. I guess I was wrong. I took her in and out of her car seat many times and had to drag her up a staircase, when she threw a tantrum. That night my tummy blew up and I developed an egg shaped lump below the incision. I went to the Er the next morning , in pain and scared. The dr. said it was probably a hematoma. They did a CAT scan and transvaginal ultrasound. They did not find anything. I just spoke with my dr. here and he said it was a hematoma. He said it is not serious. I am scared that I have damaged my healing process and will suffer later because of this. Oh ya, the doc in the ER could not for the life of him, understand why I had a myo instead of a hyst, if I did not want more kids. He was young too!
