Guest guest
I am still awating my ultrasound and in the meantime trying to come to grips with this grapefruit fibroid. Although I know that I should count my blessings that they are almost never cancerous - you still have to come to grips with this thing sitting inside of you. I liked it before when I knew it wasn't there. I will be meeting with my doc after the results and will go to a gyno and in the meantime doing my research here on the net of my options. My question is and it may sound silly " I am afraid to have Sex " since I found out. I am worried about it. My other question is: Can you exercise? I just keep imagining this thing going up and down in my uterus, etc. Are my feelings normal to be wondering all of these silly questions? I dont want this to effect my sex life as me and my husband have a great one . I think he can read my mind as he hasn't even tried to initiate anything this past 2 weeks. Guest guest
Hi , I understand how you feel. Your body being invade by this " thing " that has no business being there. Once its brought to your attention that you have fibroids, in the begining its very difficult for you to not think about it almost all the time. I've finally gotten past that stage. You can still have sex and going about all your daily activities as long as the fibroid is not affecting you....meaning sex can become uncomfortable if the fibroid is in a position in which when your uterus contracts during orgasm that it applies pressure to your fibroid as well. You may exercise and do all of things you enjoy. Many women don't begin treating their fibroids until they start effecting their lifestyles. I hope I helped you a little.
