Blood loss/other qs during resection/endo ablation

I'm curious if anyone has had significant blood loss during either

hysteroscopic myomectomy or endometrial ablation. I am planning to

have both at the same time and wonder if I should consider donating

my own blood in advance or if the need is very rare. Obviously I

will also ask my doctor. Any other advice/ suggestion/questions for

the doctor before I have these procedures would be great. ALso, how

long and how heavy has the bleeding been for women after these

procedures? How long after the procedure did you fell 100%. Thank

you, Carol

I have had both procedures done, but not at the same time. I had

the ablation done about 18 months after the resection. Blood loss

was not a problem with either procedure. I did have quite a bit of

pain for 12 hours after the ablation and none at all after the

resection. To let you know how light my periods are now - I only

buy " lite " tampons, and a small box lasts 2 - 3 months.
