Guest guest
There is a story on the internet about a gyn nurse who worked in surgery. She saw uterus after uterus dropped in a pail. At some point she figured out all these hysterectomys were due to fibroids. She vowed no one would ever plop her uterus in one of those pails. The story goes on to say one day she was disagnosed with fibroids Long story short....she went the UFE route. I read that about 2 years ago and have no idea of what the link is, but it was a story to remember. Gerri > > Then she told me that she decided hysterectomy was for her because she knew > that fibroids " made " alot of estrogen and she just knew that " all that extra > estrogen " was very bad for her system. She believed that by getting rid of > the fibroids and uterus, she would be eliminating the estrogen. I told her that > ovaries make hormones and that fibroids are fed by estrogen, but don't " make " > their own supply. She adamantly disagreed. Here's the topper, she is an > R.N.! She works in the pediatric ward of the hospital. > > Is is possible that even nurses are uninformed when it comes to fibroids?? > > > > > >
