Guest guest
I can't believe it, but I have now collected 9 BFP's since Friday !!!! Talk about obsessive but after last month's BFP at home but negative beta at doctor, I wanted to make sure before I go to take a blood test. I guess I will try to go do that tomorrow, but I was too terrified at first! I am still terrified, even though I promised myself long ago that I wouldn't obsess if I was able to get pregnant - HA! That's a laugh. **WEIRD** This was a TOTALLY natural cycle, no fertility meds or sono's or IUI's or anything. Also, I'm pretty certain I ovulated on the " bad " side (have only one tube). We took this last month off, for cost reasons, and stress reasons. The only thing that was different, and I think this was huge, is that in early December, I went to a highly recommended doctor (General Practitioner) who tested my thyroid, and put me on thyroid medications. She said by typical ranges, I could be considered to be in the normal ranges (like my RE said) but that she didn't think that meant I was functioning optimally. She said she didn't want to promise anything but she had lots of patients who got pregnant after going on thyroid medication. It is starting to feel a little more real now (after my 9 pg tests, all of which said pregnant, both digital and AIMstick), and I am getting really happy (and scared to death) instead of just scared to death. I really wondered if I was ever going to be able to post this, and I am so grateful that I have been able to. Now I will put those " please let me get pregnant " prayers to " please let it stay in there " prayers and then " please let it be healthy " prayers. I feel so blessed. I know this is long, but maybe there are some more of us out there struggling with getting pregnant because of thyroid even though our doctors - and even RE's - have said we're fine. I'm in the Dallas, TX area and happy to recommend someone to you. Best wishes and baby dust to all!!!!!!!! Kimber 10 minutes pregnant!!!
