Guest guest
Be sure the doctor orders a CBC test prior to starting to make sure your child's neutraphil/poly count is normal and re-run this test regularly (every 3-4 rounds) to make sure DMSA isn't depressing these counts and to check liver and kidney function. Also, be sure to remineralize well after each round. Gaylen
Guest guest
Gaylen, I believe that it is too much bloodwork. Low dose DMSA is not going to be so harmful for liver and kidneys. I chelated my son for 2and a half years and did the bloodwork 3 times. Every time it was normal. I just can't imagine drawing the blood after avery 3-4 rounds - that's so traumatic. Guest guest
The RBC Intracellular Minerals test from Metametrix is what Dr. Amy used.
