Jen,

The bleeding started as prolonged/uncontrollable menstruation. Lots of clots

and blood loss. I went to the ER as a result and they put me on progesterone

which slowed things down. Over 2-3 months, the bleeding became more

unpredictable and I seemed to have my period almost all the time.

I'm wondering if the fibroid would cause a build up of tissue in the uterus, or

if

the fibriod itself bleeds. If the bleeding continues after the D&C I had, I

guess

I'll know whether it's the fibroid causing the hemmorage.

I've read that UFE can cause sterility. How was your experience? Was the

healing period relatively quick?
