Guest guest
Annette Ablations do work very well for women that don't have fibroids!! If a women is bleeding, I would think their gyno would check for fibroids 1st!! Fibroids cause bleeding and would be an underlying cause. Ablation is not a treatment for fibroids!!! It won't work!! If your sure that you don't have a fibroid (s) then women bleed for other reasons like polps (which they ruled out with you) or maybe hormonal. Whatever the case, as long as you don't have fibroids, ablation can work great. You say you have bulk symtoms. It's possible that you do have a fibroid now. Go get checked out and get an ultrasound. I'm on the other board, embo group and don't know of anyone who's had an ablation for fibroids. I would say it would be a bad gyno that gives you an ablation before even ruling out fibroids. The Gyn wanted to do a hyst for many years, but I was preserving my fertility, because I had always wanted more children. Guest guest
Not all fibroid cause bleeding problems. Mainly just the ones that are inside the uterus do. So it is possible that you had bleeding problems unrelated to fibroids which your ablation treated AND you also had fibroids either on the outside of the uterus or in the wall that don't contribute to bleeding. > Can an endometrial ablation help with fibroids?
