Help! need a physician to perform myo in MD

I am presently searching for a gynocologist in the MD or DC area who

will not talk me out of my uterus and is skilled in myomectomy

surgery. I have multiple fibroids to numerous to count from an MRI

report that extend over my navel. I have seen 3 doctors, and all of

them tried to talk me into a hysterectomy. They will not admit that

myo surgeries take longer to perform and they are not skilled in the

area of complex myos such as mine. I did not ask but neither doctor

referred me to an associate who could perform the surgery, because

they want to perform the hyster on me and make that money in a short

period of time. Hyster surgeries are a billion dollar business.

I am so frustrated at this point, because I located in doctor in DC

that is very skilled in myos, but he does not use health insurance.

It would be very costly for me to use his services. I have been

proactive and read research on hyster. If you are at least a decade

away or more from menopause and you do not desire to have children,

you still should not consider a hyster because of the negative after

effects.
