vitamin E , progesterone cream post-myo. questions

Hi,

My incision is healing nicely, but wondered about applying Vitamin E from a

capsule to it..... my naturopath says to do it, ...but my boyfriend told me it

would make the scar stand out and look WORSE , ....that African tribal people

use Vitamin E to MAKE keloid scars !!!! ????

(Also, my period is due in a couple of days, and this would be my first post-op

period) (surgery was 3 weeks ago next Wed.)..... My doc. said my period could

be as much as 6 weeks late post-op,..... but that it could also come anytime.

My breasts are tender, but so far no spotting, or signs that I am getting it.

My naturopath told me to use 1/4 tsp. progesterone cream twice daily post-op,

just like I did before, starting day 8 - 28. I called her to tell her what the

doc. said, and she wants me to STAY on the cream twice daily UNTIL I get my

first period post-myo. Otherwise, she said I would induce a period. (???) I

didn't ask my doc. about this, since he would probably tell me to use nothing,

and let it happen naturally.

I think if I don't get my period by day 28, that I will stop the cream until my

period starts..... if anyone has experience with this please write !
