What a Downer Eva has become

Thanks Mark for sending those articles and Thanks Tawny for

the 'Yoohoo'. I'm here but getting sicker and sicker. Call after call

to my neuro without response. I passed out on Saturday. I could feel

it coming and I wasn't finished eating the wonderful omelet breakfast

I made. I quickly put the plate down for Daisy and headed the scooter

towards the couch. I could tell I wasn't going to make it so I

stopped behind the loveseat and leaned my head over on it. I

remember getting my face washed in gratitude but did not 'come to'

for 1 1/2 hours.

Monday I got calls from nurses at the physiatrist and surgeons'

offices concerned about my well-being and asking if the neuro did

anything. Today I got a call from the neuro's gal who informed me he

wanted me to see an ALLERGIST about my secondary Epstein barr

cerebellitis.

The diseases aren't necessarily killers but inept physicians are.

Today was my PCPs no appointment day so I sent in a FAX saying I

agreed with her that my conditions were all neurological. We were

right but soon I might be DEAD RIGHT (70+ days of chills and fever)

and noted the neuro kept pointing the finger at her. WOW a call back

within the hour to set up an appt for tomorrow.

I'm polling all docs for ideas on a neuro and Infect. Dis Specialist

who will collaberate on Eva, the Unique.

All it would take is an anti-viral, corticosteroid, and continuing

antibiotics past this 4th course and I'd be so full of it you

couldn't stand me.

So help me out here - ignore my 'downer-ism' and send me your ideas

of what kind of mischief I can get into WHEN I get better and JUST

have PLS.
