Guest guest
Hi! I'm new to this group but I'm a member of the Mullerian Anomalies group. This group consists of women who have congenital uterine anomalies. We share our experiences, and basically provide support for one another through our web site, much like I'm sure you do on this site. I have recently been diagnosed with a large uterine fibroid or fibroids that are at this point resting on other organs and affecting my quality of life in many areas. It is because of my uterine anomaly that my choice of treatment is a bit more involved and a great deal more confusing to both myself and my doctors. So far, I have been unable to connect with anyone who has a Mullerian Anomaly and has been successfully treated for fibroids without resorting to hysterectomy. My choices seem to be uterine fibroid embellization or myomectomy (sp?). If anyone out there has any experience with this particular situation, I would really appreciate a response to my inquiry. I am so grateful that we have these wonderful ble to us. As women, we have always relied upon our " female community " for support. In these times, it seems even more relevant than ever. Sincerely, Janet Pike
