Guest guest
Roma, you are a star!! lstegallathome I'd love to talk further about this topic as I really feel the cold too. Some possible things I've considered (as an ignorant layperson) have included: hypo thyroid blood sugars hypo-glaecemia Raynauds Syndrome anxiety/panic/stress, anaemia Something like pelvic congestion with the fibroids? Something mimicking an illness, like a pollutant Blood pressure I started a thread on this at the soul cysters site and got some interesting responses. I've also had some reconition of this on Smartgroups UK. In December I was diagnosed with having low iron in the blood and apparently cold pronenes is a symptom of anaemia. I get cold proneness and also weird cold shivering bouts. You can email me about this When I get cold I do housework to warm up! Ironing with a mug of hot chocolate nearby is very effective in about 3 shirts. Hoovering is almost immediate. Making the beds also helps quickly. I have a hot water bottle and a woolly hat at the side of the bed! I've become very adept at learning tricks of keeping warm and noticing which of my clothes are the warmest. I ask for drinks without ice when we go out and purposefully try and site near radiators and away from doors. The iron tablets may be helping alleviate cold proneness, but it's hard to say. I'm wondering if it has any correlation with certain times of the month. Aztek __________
