Guest guest
Di, haven't you gone though enough girl. So sorry to hear that you had another ER experience. You'd think that PLS was enough for us but oh NO they have to put in something else and stir the pot. Bubble bubble... Glad you had the wisdom to give yourself that shot. I to am allergy to wasps, bees. I got stung years ago before PLS appeared and the wasp bit me in my arm pit (I was washing the outside windows) my arm puffed up so quickly but than goodness the hospital is just across the street. They pulled my undies down and give me the shot.............So now I freak out whenever one buzzes by. Glad you are OK now. Guest guest
Oh Di I am so sorry. I'm sure the full impact of this scary situation won't hit you until today...when the benedryl wears off. Now listen you have got to stop racing me to the other side. Let's make a deal. No competition. I'm willing to lose my winning spot if you are willing to just cross over arm in arm. lol If so you'll have to wait I've still got some butt to kick. Guest guest
Hi Di! Wow! What an experience! I'm glad you had your kit with you and used it. Girl, you need to take better care of yourself. Hope your neuro is able to help you with this. I have taken Prednisone IV and orally before. Boy! That is a miracle drug for me! Once the " wackiness " wears off, I am able to do much better and feel much better. Sometimes, I think perhaps a maintenance dose about once per year should be given. Mike Gray Back to the Hospital For Di! > Well...little did I know that the antibiotic " Cefuroxime " ...500 mg > twice a day was deadly for me. Guest guest
Ya....He gave me IV Prednisone and I felt really good the next day. Then I had a high dose pred. tablet to take last night and it helped not just the pneumonia, but I actually went one evening without my usual chest wall spasms.....maybe a coincidence....I don't know. Guest guest
Thats fantastic Di!! Maybe a high dose prednisone is what you need. Look into it! Aussie Maureen > > > > Hi Di! > > > > Wow!
