I wish I had had this large fibroid out when it was first diagnosed at age 35. I could have avoided years of fatigue, heavy bleeding, anemia, and losing days every month due to my period. If your large fibroid is causing you problems, I say don't wait. Have it out now. I guess I am biased, being 48, and just having a successful myomectomy. I wish I had done it years ago.
